Geisinger Health System has an immediate opening for a full-time
Neuropsychologist within the Neuropsychology Section of the Division of
Psychiatry. Responsibilities include participation in and supervision of
outpatient evaluations across a range of neurological, medical,
psychiatric and co-morbid disorders.

The Neuropsychology Section of the Division of Psychiatry has a
postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology. The successful
candidate will take an active part in supervising and teaching
postdoctoral fellows, in addition to coordinating and delivering
neuropsychological services for an inpatient physical medicine
rehabilitation unit, which includes serving as an integral member of an
interdisciplinary team.

Experience in a hospital setting with adults with traumatic brain
injury is preferred. Qualified candidates could have the opportunity to
serve as program director of the postdoctoral fellowship. Research
opportunities are also available. Providing neuropsychological
evaluations for neurosurgery patients with epilepsy is also
anticipated.

The majority of time associated with this position will be spent at
Geisinger Northeast, located in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Basic requirements
include a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program in clinical or
counseling psychology, completion of an internship with experience in
neuropsychology, two years of postdoctoral experience in
neuropsychology, eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania, and the
expectation of the successful candidate’s pursuing board
certification.
